The LPSC Guest Sail event is open to the public with and without boats to allow potential sailors to try sailing and get a feel for what boat they might like to get and for club members to sail with others whether they have a boat or not.
Non-Member BYOB (Bring Your Own Boat): If you have your own sailboat, come join us and meet the club.
If you don’t have a boat, LPSC host skippers are making room on their boats for “new” crew to experience sailing on Lake Pleasant. Space is limited and priority will be given to those who have not had the chance to sail with us before. Bring a hat, sun block, non-marking shoes, and drinks and snack.
Tentative start time 11:00 am. This could change slightly based on wind conditions. All participants will meet at Pleasant Harbor Marina in front of Dillon's. LPSC members are encouraged to arrive 10-15 minutes early to help us greet our non-member guests.
After we assign non-boaters to boats, we will set out for a couple hours of sailing and then plan either to raft up or return to the marina for a social hour.
We cannot offer these events without members willing to participate as a host boat skipper. If you would like to help us by attending as a host boat skipper, please register and add a note saying you can skipper.
Please go to our website lakepleasantsailing.com and register for the event and click on the waiver to print and sign. Bring it the day of sail or send it to firstname.lastname@example.org. Guests without a signed waiver will not be permitted to board.
Questions day of: Commodore Slavik 480-415-4073 or VHF Channel 69
