Wednesday-Monday
April 3rd – 8th , 2024
Are you all ready for the Annual Spring Surf 'n' Turf camping extravaganza? Yes, we will camp at the beautiful vista point campground at lake pleasant again. The dates are Wednesday April 3rd through Monday April 8th. You can set up your camping dates with the Lake Pleasant RV office at 623-235-6140. Talk to Chris or anyone in the office to make the reservation.
We will have a campfire, stories and lies, beautiful sunsets, good food and the best of friendships. Don't forget that this get together isn't just for RVers but for all LPSC members and their guests. The main event is on Saturday about 5pm and we will also have a scrumptious breakfast on Sunday morning.
So, bring your favorite award winning dish for the potluck Saturday evening. Saturday's dinner entrée as well as Sunday's vittles will be provided by your favorite club.
So come be with us by any means possible such as car, RV, balloon, motorcycle, military vehicle, float plane, parachute, sailboat, kayak, bicycle, helicopter, or even your dang feet! Remember you can get your boat out of storage and stay overnight in one of the guest slips or use one of the tumbleweed boats. Let's get on the water.

Guest Sail Sunday
Our club invites new or prospective sailors to join us on the water in our boats. It's a great way to experience sailing and try various boats in our fleet.
Roper Lake is a small lane near Safford. It's higher elevation should give us good weather in May. Kayaking, hiking, bird watching are very good here. Try to reserve in the Hacienda Loop area.
We are planning 1 hike and dinner out in Safford on Wednesday evening.
June Crayfish Boil and Fish Fry Cruise and Raft Up
We will be cruising the lake setting crayfish traps and fishing then head to Honeymoon Cove for a crayfish boil and fish fry raft up. Bring your swimsuits and food and drinks to share.
International Grandparents' Day Cruise and Raft Up
What a fine way to show your grandchildren how awesome their grandparents are by taking them sailing and sharing their adventures with them and getting the little ones into sailing. Some might not even know you are adventurers. Now is the time to show them! Look at this guy! White pants on a sailboat, almost crushing his sunglasses, showing his grandkids how it's done!
Pirate Race and Raft Up...Yarrrr
Join us for a epic battle as Pirates make off with the Crown's treasure and the Royal Navy pursues. Battle is performed with water guns. If a boat's entire crew is soaked they are then boarded and take the treasure. Bring your best rum drinks and Caribbean food to the raft up at Honeymoon Cove after the race.
Oktoberfest 2024
Our sailors step off onto the shores of Edelweiss Biergarten in north Phoenix. Plenty of outdoor or indoor seating and great German food made from scratch. This is where we share adventures from the year and make plans for the Parade of Lights.
Halloween Trick or Treat Cruise and Raft Up
We will be giving out tricks and treats along our stops on the lake including Scorpion Bay and Pleasant Harbor Marina stopping in to visit our sponsors and the staff that work there and the guests of both marinas. Attire: costume required. Hand out candy in little bags with our logo on them. We will start at Pleasant Harbor Marina, hand out candy, then to the boats! to get to Scorpion Bay Marina.
